Roger Dale McDaniel
Roger Dale McDaniel, 65, of Kingwood died Wednesday, April 20, 2016 at Ruby Memorial Hospital.
He was born November 7, 1950, in Clarksburg, a son of the late Thomas J. and Daisy M. (Pete) Huffman McDaniel.
He was a loving father, grandfather and brother. Roger was a graduate of Newburg High School. He held the position of Court Bailiff and Process Server for the Sheriff of Preston County and was a Deputy Clerk in the Preston County Magistrate Court. He was a member of the Kingwood Church of the Nazarene and was also a musician who played, bass guitar and keyboard.
He is survived by his two sons, Nelson (Chip) Lott and wife, Michelle and Aaron McDaniel, all of Kingwood; a daughter, Monica Dixon and husband, Todd of Gladesville; a brother, Charles McDaniel and wife, Jeanie of Fairmont; four grandchildren, Hannah Dixon, Luke Dixon, Nathan Lott and Isaac McDaniel.
He was also preceded in by his wife, Janet Kay DeBerry McDaniel on May 29, 2013.
