Roger A. Chezem, 74, of Anderson, passed away on February 13, 2018. He was born on January 17, 1944 in Anderson, where he resided all of his life.

Roger graduated from St. Mary’s High School . He served his country in the United States Army during the Vietnam War. He worked for Delco Remy and retired in 2005 after 45 years of service. He was a parishioner of St. Ambrose Catholic Church, and served as an usher. He was an avid outdoorsman who loved to fish and hunt. He also was highly involved with the Boy Scouts of America.

Roger was a troop leader of Troop 301, and leader of Explorer Post 301. He was a recipient of The Silver Beaver Award.

Roger is survived by his loving wife of 43 years, Phyllis (Lenigar) Chezem; daughter, Michelle (Michael) Keller; and granddaughter, Emma Jean Keller. Also surviving are his siblings; Tom Chezem and Jo Ann Chezem; sisters-in-law, Elaine Chezem and Peggy Atterberry, and several nieces, and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, Raymond L. and Margaret Chezem; daughter, Elizabeth Anne Chezem; brother, Raymond A. Chezem; and sister-in-law, Mary Ann Chezem.
