He was born in February of 1954 at St. Benedict’s Hospital in Jerome, Idaho to Lois Fiegenbaum Biser and William C. Biser. He was preceded in death by his sister, Jacqueline Biser, Wahl, Denney, and his father, Bill Biser. He is survived by his mother, Lois Biser, his children, Jeff Biser, Shannon Hoye, and Jacqueline Biser. He was also survived by four grandchildren. Preston, Audrey and Natalie Hoye and Gracee Johnson. Rod went to Twin Falls High School and later after a number of colleges and various other jobs, he became a journeyman carpenter. He was disabled for that work. After the carpentry, he studied computer science and used his knowledge of 4ACAD to have many responsible engineering jobs with NASA, BART, Oracle, and other prestigious companies. He established a school and taught in the Contra Costa area of California. He also had his own company where he did drafting on contract. Rod moved to Texas in 2008 and worked with an engineering company until they went out of business. His house burned down in 2015 destroying everything he owned. He then purchased a house in Plum Grove, Texas and was all set to raise chickens when a flood came and wiped out all of the building materials and equipment, and drowned 250 of his chickens. Rod’s house became the center of the raging San Jacinto River. After the flood, his health deteriorated and he was diagnosed with ALS (Lou Gehrig’s Disease). He was about to have hospice come to his home when death overcame him.
