Rodger Dale Croft, age 71, was peacefully taken into God’s care on Wednesday, May 27, 2020. He was born on September 6, 1948 to the late Edward Judson Croft and Gretchen Bolen Croft. Rodger was strong in his faith and if you met him, he did not hesitate to tell you all about the good Lord. He was faithful member of Change Church in Grantville. Rodger selflessly served his country in the United States Army during the Vietnam War. After 20 years in the Army he retired with an honorable discharge. He was an avid golfer and genuinely enjoyed being outdoors hunting and fishing. Rodger loved his family dearly and took every opportunity to spend time with his grandchildren, who were truly his greatest joy in life. He will be dearly missed by all that new him.
Along with his parents, Rodger is preceded in death by his daughter Brandy Elizabeth Croft. He is survived by his wife, Diane Still Croft; children, Rodger Brent Croft and his wife Trisha Thompson Croft, Brandon Croft and his wife Shanna Croft, Byron Still Croft and his wife Jessica Croft, Bradley Croft; grandchildren, Jacob Croft, Kaylee Croft, Camron Croft, Hutson Croft, Teagan Croft, Forrest Croft, Jay Cash, Brody Cash and Cannon Cash. He is also survived by his brothers, Arnold Croft (Donna), Aldon Croft and one sister, Beverly Croft Thomas (D.C.).
