A lifetime of laughter and love came to an end on April 15, 2014, as Dr. Robin Jon Robbins, Ph.D., became an angel in God’s the Heavenly Kingdom. Rob was born May 22, 1937, in Skowhegan, Maine.
Anyone having the honor of knowing Rob was surely on the receiving end of at least one- if not more- of his jokes (sometimes several times). Love of laughter, service to his country (Air Force, Marines, and Army), and an unending desire for education defined him. He gave selflessly of his time and spent his final years helping friends, family, and strangers simply to see the joy in their faces. He is survived by his son and daughter-in-law Craig and Catrina Robbins, and his daughter and son-in-law Kathi and Marshall Sturm, his grandchildren: Brittani Robbins, Alex Upchurch, Jerrica Story, Marshall Sturm II, Travis Legg, and wife Kayla, Ryan and Joshua Storey, and his great-grandchildren: Brian, Daniel, Corey, and Alanna Robbins.
