Roberta Turner, age 74, entered eternal life on Monday September 19, 2011. She was born on May 17, 1937 in Edmond, OK to the late Leroy and Pearl Bean. After moving to Carroll County Roberta was employed for Carroll Electric in Berryville. Her favorite pastime was sewing. She was considered an excellent seamstress who took pride in all of her work, from wedding dresses to blue jeans. Roberta worked as Sanitation Supervisor for the Oklahoma City School system for a number of years. She faithfully attended Alpena First Baptist Church with her family by her side. She is survived by two sons Steve and wife Dianne Turner of Harrison and Jeff and wife LaShell of Alpena, one brother, Alvin and wife Sheila Bean of Jacksonville, AR, granddaughters, Casey and Coley Turner of Alpena, Amanda Scitern of Berryville, Macey Allen of Green Forest and great-grandchildren ,Kollyn and Keaton Scitern. Besides her parents Roberta is also preceded in death by one brother, Jimmy Bean.
