Roberta Evelyn (Rogers) McMorris, 89, of Madison AL, formerly of Moberly MO, passed away peacefully on December 5, 2020, in the company of her loving daughter.

Roberta was born on August 6, 1931 at home in Duncans Bridge, MO to Cecil and Eva Rogers. She was a 1949 graduate of Moberly High School and was a member of the Jefferson Avenue Methodist Church. Roberta worked as a secretary at various places in Moberly, most notably employed at Banquet Foods for 13 years. She retired from Government service with Truman Veterans Administration Hospital in Columbia, MO.

Survivors include daughter Marisa (Kay) Helfert and her husband Joe of Madison AL and son Richard McMorris and his wife Velda of Kearney MO; she was a loving Mammie to five grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and friends.

Roberta was preceded in death by her loving husband of 66 years, Curtis McMorris, who passed in June of this year, her parents, and brother Richard Rogers.

Roberta enjoyed several years of square dancing all over the United States, as well as in Germany. She also was an accomplished seamstress and enjoyed watching her St. Louis Cardinal and Missouri Tiger teams.
