Roberta L. Gansen age 53 of Geneva passed away Friday January 4, 2013 at Delnor-Community Hospital in Geneva.
She was born May 4, 1959 in Dubuque, Iowa the daughter of Robert and Patricia (Kuse) Yelden.
Roberta was born and raised in Dubuque, Iowa graduating from Hempstead High School in 1977. She married her high school sweetheart Timothy in October of 1982 and they moved to the Chicago area first settling in Des Plaines then moving to Elk Grove Village, Carol Stream and eventually making their home in Geneva.
She is survived by her loving husband of 30 years, Timothy; two daughters Lindsey and Lauren; parents Robert and Patricia Yelden of Dubuque, Iowa; siblings Debbie (Richard) Martin of Flagstaff, AZ, Beatrice Bonk of Hanover Park, Georgia (Jack) Pittman of Davenport, FL, John (Tina) Yelden of Peosta, IA, Patrick (Billie Jo) Yelden of Poinciana, FL, Kathy (Dean) Mausser of Holy Cross, Iowa and Tony ( Andrea) Yelden of Cedar Rapids, Iowa; in-laws Francis and Joyce Gansen of Iowa. Also survived by many relatives and friends who will miss her dearly.
