Roberta “Bert” Noe, 95, of Ankeny, died on Wednesday, October 30, 2019, at MercyOne Hospice – Johnston.
Bert, the daughter of William and Letha (Wilcox) Jontz, was born on December 14, 1923 on the family farm near Baxter. She grew up in Baxter and graduated from Baxter High School. After high school, Bert attended Iowa State Teacher’s College. Bert was united in marriage with Charles “Chuck” Noe in Missouri. While Chuck was in the Coast Guard, they lived on the West Coast and Roberta worked in a fish factory.
Bert is survived by many nieces and nephews and their families. She is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Chuck; and two brothers, Charles and Clyde Jontz.
