Roberta E. “Bobbie” Lukowski, loving wife, mother and grandmother, age 69 of Midland, died Tuesday July 28, 2015 at MidMichigan Medical Center, Midland.
The daughter of the late Robert D. and Wilma V. (Leaf) Battice was born in Midland on June 23, 1946. She had been employed with The Dow Chemical Company until her retirement in 1998 after 34 years of service. Bobbie was a member of the Little River Band of Ottawa Indians of which she served as an elder. She enjoyed playing golf, bowling and cards, going shopping, sitting around the campfire, but most of all she loved being with her family.
Surviving is her husband of 46 years Ronald F. Lukowski of whom she married on March 15, 1969 in Cynthiana Kentucky; daughter, Terri Lukowski of Midland; son, Jason (Jamie) Lukowski of Midland; grandchildren, Logan, Paige, Madison and Brady; brother, Dave (Bonnie) Battice of Houghton Lake; sister, Arlene (Michael) Beckton of Kalamazoo; sister in law, Carol Lukowski of Bay City; best friends, Carol Goulet and Deb Gerado. In addition to her parents, Bobbie was preceded in death by her sister, Marvel Battice.
