WILLIAMS, ROBERT DANIEL went to be with the Lord on Thursday morning, June 23, 2011 at the age of 79. This resident of the Trussville/Center Point area was a loving husband, daddy and Paw Paw. He was a member of First Baptist Church of Trussville, where he sang in the senior choir. He had a lifelong love for sports, fishing and the University of Alabama; but the most important thing to him was always his family. Bob retired from AT&T, where he was employed for 40 years. After retirement, he was employed at Southern Comfort Conversions as the Warranty Manager. He was preceded in death by his parents, Claude and Ann Williams; and great grandson, Tristen Aders. He is survived by his wife Joyce, of 58 years; his children, Brenda Love (Greg), Robin McSweeney (Rod), Danny Williams (Leasa); brother, Roland Williams (Norma) of Ft. Walton Beach, FL; grandchildren, Kerrie Ledbetter (David), Shelley Massey (Doug), Wesley Love (Amanda), Matt McSweeney (Susie), Michael McSweeney, Brandon Williams, Joshua Williams; great grandchildren, Moriah McSweeney, Rylie Grace Ledbetter, Baylie Ledbetter, Aiden Ziegler, Cole Massey, and Ryan, Cameron & Alexa Williams; and many nieces and nephews. Although he has gone to be with his Lord and Savior, Jesus, he will be greatly missed by his friends and family.
