Robert William Prohosky, age 45, of Rensselaer passed away at his home on August 24, 2012 after a lengthy battle with brain cancer.
Robert was born in Brook, Indiana on April 8, 1967. He was the son of Robert E. and Wanda J. (Mott) Prohosky.
Robert attended North Newton High School. He was a self-employed farmer and enjoyed all aspects of farming, especially tractors.
Robert was a self-taught expert at painting and restoring all kinds of tractors but his favorite was Case-International Harvester tractors. He had an extensive collection that he was most proud of. He also enjoyed spending time with his family and friends and loved to shoot pool.
Robert is survived by his mother, Wanda J. Prohosky of Wolcott and three sisters, Cindy (Art) Walker, of Rensselaer, Indiana; Paula (Charles) Schleman of Wolcott, Indiana; and Lori Prohosky of Rensselaer. He also leaves behind his pet dog, and best buddy, Teddy. Robert was preceded in death by his father, Robert E. Prohosky.
