He was a member of the Markleville Masonic Lodge #44 F. & A.M., Scottish Rite Valley of Indianapolis, Midwest Tool Collectors Association, Missouri Valley Wrench Club, Buick Club of American and American Numismatist Association. He was active in the Indiana State Fair from 1977-to 1994 and was the Antique Judge for the fair from 1994-to 2004.
He is survived by his Parents: Robert P. & Anna Damon Pottorff. Wife of 21 years: Dianna Markle Pottorff. Daughter: Anita & husband Andy Marsh of Anderson. Son: Robert Alan Pottorff of Markleville. Stepdaughters: Amy & husband Brandon Blackwell of Shirley. Anessa & husband Chris Conley of Anderson. Sister: Ruth & husband Raymond Seal. Grandchildren: Lauren Marsh, Christopher Marsh and Daniel Pittman. Mother-in-law: Christina Markle of Markleville. Seven Step Grandchildren, One Niece and Two Nephews. Special loved dog: Magnum.
He was preceded by his Brother: Jimmy Pottorff in October 2003.
