Bob was married to the former Geraldine M. Young.
Bob was an Air Force veteran of World War II and a POW. He retired from the former Avco as a Quality Assurance Specialist.
Born June 30, 1922 in Williamsport, he was the son of James A. and S. Elizabeth Blank Hettinger.
Surviving in addition to his wife are sons, Rev. Daniel R. of Castlerock, CO and James T. of Woodstock, GA.
Bob was predeceased by a daughter, Bonnie Kay Hettinger.
