Robert “Bob” Twigg, 71, Anderson, died October 7, 2009 at his residence. He was born January 13, 1938 in Muncie, Indiana, and resided in this area most of his life. He graduated as a Bearcat from Muncie Central High School.
He worked as a machinist and retired from Low Bob’s Tobacco. Bob trained and showed Arabian Horses for most of his life. Bob was a life member of the Muncie Moose, was a member of the Indiana Arabian Club and the Arabian Horse Association.
He is survived by his wife, whom he married November 16, 1974, Linda Lou Welch Twigg; daughters, Dawn Robin & husband Mark Smith of Alabama and Dana Lorraine Twigg of Alabama; four grandchildren, Roseanna, Sophia, Doneta and Barbara; six great grandkids; several nieces and nephews and several great nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his siblings, Melvin LeRoy Twigg and Carolyn Sue Lee and parents, William Twigg & Florence Ester May Swank Ratliff.
