Those left to honor Robert’s memory are his wife, Arlene of Newton; 2 sons, Robert E. (and Judy) Cass of Newton and David (and Kathy) Cass of Prescott Valley, Arizona; his daughter, Linda (and Ronald) Williams of Lynnville, Iowa; 10 grandchildren; his 15 great-grandchildren; 2 great-great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, George C. and Alta E. (Sparks) Cass; grandson, William T. Cass in infancy; his brother, Lawrence Cass; and sister, Marjorie Cass.
Robert graduated from Kellogg High School in Kellogg, Iowa.
He was a press operator in the rubber department of the Maytag Company for 37 years, retiring in 1978.
