Robert Thomas Magolon “Bob” at the age of 74 passed away suddenly on April 3, 2020. He was from the Briarcliffe section of Glenolden where he attended Saint Joes School. Bob was a graduate from Monsignor Bonner High School. After Bonner Bob served in the Navy for two years on the USS Shangri La. Married Brenda (Blackwell) Magolon on February 19th 1966. Bob worked at the US Mint for 37 years where he served as a Plant Supervisor. Bob was a loving and caring Husband, Father, Grandfather, Great Grandfather, Brother and Uncle. Bob loved his family very dearly especially his wife Brenda of 54 years. He was a track coach of St Joseph Aston and PIAA official. Bob enjoyed bowling twice a week on this bowling team where he served as the league treasurer. Bob was very active in St Joseph of Aston church where he served as a Eucharistic minister. Bob volunteered at St Katherine Drexel’s food pantry twice a week .Bob loved being a father and going on many family vacations across the country. Bob always attended his grand kids sporting events with his pen and paper to keep the stats. Bob loved his Philadelphia sports team.
