Robert Russell Bennett, 68, of Hartford, passed away on Sunday, December 28, 2014. Born in Hartford, son of the late Russell and Catherine (Dunn) Bennett, he was a longtime resident of Hartford and a member of the Loyal Order of the Moose Lodge #723. He served his country honorably in the U.S. Marine Corps. He retired from Pratt and Whitney in 2008. Robert loved the outdoors and especially enjoyed boating and camping. A loving and devoted father and grandfather, he leaves his daughter Kimberly Baldini and her husband Damon of Alexandria, VA and his two grandchildren, Keegan and Hudson Baldini. He also leaves his sister Sharon Gordon and her husband Mark, his two nieces Kelly Dubs and her husband Mark and Kasey Forest and her husband Paul all of Long Island, NY, and his two close friends Irene Schade of Vernon and Barbara Waters of Hartford.
