Robert “Rob” Casey, age 42 passed away on August 9, 2021. He was born on March 12, 1979 in Rancho Cordova, California to Shawn and Linda Casey.
He graduated from St. Charles High School in St. Charles, Il in 1997. Rob then went on to Southern Illinois University and graduated with a bachelor’s degree. For the last 15 years Rob has worked for Tybrin/Jacobs Corporation as a computer system network engineer. Rob loved designing and building computers. He loved his cars and working on them and he could fix just about anything. He loved his music and ice hockey but most of all he loved his kids and being a dad. Rob had a great love for his family, his wife, his sons, mom and dad and his brother.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Leonard and Lulu May Rucker and John Casey.
Rob is survived by his wife of 8 years Shannon; his children, Joshua and Jacob Casey and Timothy and Sean Bowden; his parents, Shawn and Linda Casey; his brother, Ryan Casey and his wife Crystal; and their children, Ryder, Rylee, Aubrey and Chris; also surviving is his grandmother, Florence Julia Casey. Rob also has many aunts, uncles, and cousins in Ohio, Indiana, and Florida.
