Robert Richard Cox, Sr., 72, of 3711 Hollow Tree Dr., Liberty, died Thursday, September 21, 2017 at Durham VA Medical Center in Durham.
Robert was a native of Guilford County, formerly employed as Operational Manager with Allens Hatchery, served in the U.S. Navy and a member of Pleasant Hill Christian Church. He was also a member of DAV, and N.C. Poultry Association. Robert was preceded in death by parents, Ray and Catherine McCormick Cox, brother, Walter Cox, half brothers, Boyd Cox, William Cox, Danny Cox, half sisters, Jean McCormick, Janet Earles, grandson, Jordan M. Stanley.
Survivors: daughter, Laura Cox Stanley, and husband, Rex, of Ramseur, Sandra Cox McNeil, and husband, Jimmy, of Franklinville, son, Robert R.
