Randy was born on October 2, 1940 to his loving parents Hamilton and Vivian Head in Phoenix, Arizona. Randy was the fourth of six children and grew up in a home where family was everything.
At the age of 17 he joined the United States Navy and served overseas in the Vietnam War on the USS Jarvis. Even at such a young age, Randy was very patriotic and fought hard for his country.
