Robert R. Richardson, age 94, of Fairmount, IN, died Thursday, June 26, 2014, at VA Northern Indiana Health Care Center in Marion, IN.
He was the son of the late Matt Richardson and the late Flossie (Poole) Richardson, born on June 9, 1920 in Fairmount, Indiana.
He was a Sergeant in the Army during WWII from 1942 to 1945 in the 856th Bomb Squad.Retiring from RCA he was also the owner of R & RRepair.He loved his family, dog Crickett Lee and fishing.He attended Fairmount Friends Church.
He is survived by his wife of 20 years Beverly Timbs-Richardson, Fairmount, IN Two Daughters: Karen(Steven) Wise, Sheridan, IN Jackie (Ed) Thibodeaux, Morse, LA 4 grandchildren.: Krista Wise-Wroblewski, Matthew Wise, Nick Chambers and Stephenie Wise 5 Great-Grandchildren: Xander, Zac and Sophi Wroblewski and Benjaman and Jackson Wise. He was preceded in death by his first wife Ruth Naomi, Sister Bernice Shrontz, and nephews Dale and Dean Shrontz.
