He is survived by his wife, Laura Vidrine Porter; two daughters, LeCarol Porter of Lafayette, LA, Jennifer Porter and fiance Justin Goleman of Bastrop,LA; two sons, Heath Porter and wife Amy of Bastrop,LA, John Phillip Porter and wife Sharree of Bastrop,LA; brother, Harold Andrew Porter and wife Sharalou of Bastrop,LA; five grandchildren, Jareth, Dylan, Isaac, Christopher, and Jacob; aunt, Helen Blackburn; several nieces and nephews and a special friend and mother of his children, Duania Porter.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Harold A. Porter,Sr. and Joan Carol Porter; father in law, D.W. Holley; uncle, Bill Blackburn and grandmother, Mary Rigel.
