Robert N. Hanright, Sr., age 77, of Lee Center, passed away on March11, 2014, due to a long illness.
He was born February 4, 1937, in Annsville, the son of the Howard and Josie Flickinger Hanright. Robert was a retired Navy Chief Petty Officer. He served aboard the USS Lake Champlain, USS Macdonough and the USS Wainwright. He also was a dedicated volunteer at the Donald J. Mitchell VA Clinic in Rome.
He was predeceased by his parents, Howard and Josie, three brothers, Clifford, Frank and Howard, Jr., and a son, Jason.
Robert is survived by his wife, Connie; two brothers, Arthur and Kenneth; a sister, Pat Themelis; two daughters, Robin and Crystal; three sons, Robert, Jr., William and Daniel; and his grandchildren.
