Robert Nelson Shaw, 63, of Middletown, passed away on Wednesday, May 7th at Portland Care and Rehabilitation Center. Born in New York, NY, he was the son of Eugenie (Roane) Shaw of Middletown and the late Theodore Shaw. Robert lived most of his life in Portland where he was a Town Constable. He also worked for Portland Chemical for many years and recently for Henkels and McCoy of Portland. Besides his mother, he is survived by a brother, David Roane and his wife, Barbara, of Middletown; two sisters, Geraldine Davidson of Middletown and Barbara E. Shaw of Cromwell. He was predeceased by three brothers, a twin, Richard J. Shaw, Theodore Shaw, Jr. and Charles Smith.
