Robert N. Talarico, Esq., 79, of Danbury, husband of Barbara (Gillotti) Talarico, passed away surrounded by his loving family on Monday, February 14, 2022, at his home.

Affectionately known as Bob, Mr. Talarico was born in Danbury on March 14, 1942, son of Nathaniel and Ella (Canale) Talarico. He was a lifelong resident of Danbury, attended St. Peter School and Danbury High School. Bob completed his undergraduate degree at the University of Connecticut and graduated first in his class from the University of Connecticut Law School in 1965. He went on to earn his law degree and practiced law from 1965 to 2020.

He married the love of his life, Barbara Gillotti in 1968. Together, they were blessed with wonderful sons Edward and John. 

Bob was a partner in the law firm of Talarico, Frizzell, and Olivo. He was a member of the Danbury and Connecticut Bar Associations. He also served as Assistant Corporation Counsel for the City of Danbury as well as Judge of Probate. He was the founding director of the Pope John Paul II Center for Healthcare. He also served on the Board of Directors of Ability Beyond. He was a member and former Director of the Regional YMCA, a member of the Exchange Club of Danbury and of the Amerigo Vespucci Lodge S.O.I.A.

Active in the life of his parish, St.

Bob loved going to his home on Cape Cod and sharing it with his family and friends. He was an avid bike rider and book reader. His laugh was contagious and could bring joy to any room he entered.

Mr. Talarico is survived by his beloved wife Barbara, two sons Edward (wife Marci), and John (wife Jennifer) as well as his sister Annette Adams (husband Ken), and his five grandchildren who were the light of his life Ross, Paige, Drew, Jamie and Justin as well as many nieces, nephews and cousins who he loved dearly. Bob is preceded in death by his sister Susette Carroll as well as his parents Ella and Nathaniel Talarico.
