Robert McHale passed away peacefully at his home in Washington Township. Born and raised in South Philly, Bob moved to the other side of the bridge many years ago with his bride, Cecelia.  January 29th would have been their 44th wedding anniversary.  They enjoyed so many joyful days together as a couple!

Loving brother of Marie Shannon, Bill McHale (Roberta), and the late Jack McHale.  Dear brother- in- law of Mary McHale.  Abundantly loved by nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews.

Bob was deeply devoted to family and friends.  He enjoyed fishing, cheering on the Phillies and Flyers, hosting backyard barbeques where he donned the chief chef hat, sharing  his slide productions on the pull down screen in the family room,  attending  theater shows, and dining out at his favorite restaurants.

Bob served in the U.S. Army and was patriotic throughout his life.

Bob was an avid traveler with Ireland being one of his favorite vacation spots. He was able to visit the hometown of his ancestors on one of his trips to Ireland.  Bob and Ceil also enjoyed many cruises.  In their later years, they continued to travel and found bus tours both educational and fun!

Bob worked at DuPont as a plant manager.  He celebrated his retirement surrounded by family and friends with a party aboard the Spirit of Philadelphia.

Bob was a member of St. Charles Borromeo Church and a regular at the 11:00 Sunday mass.  Bob found comfort in reciting the rosary which he did faithfully.
