Robert Maurice James, son of George James and Dora Jackson, was born on June 25, 1952, in Indianapolis, Indiana. Robert received his education in the public schools at Indianapolis Public School #4 and Crispus Attucks High School.
Robert confessed a hope in Christ and was baptized at an early age.
Robert was employed at Kimmel Shoe Repair for several years. There he became popular among his co-workers. He worked until he became ill.
Robert was a friendly person, smooth fellow, giving, and humorous.
Robert Maurice James departed this earthly life on Saturday, March 20, 2021 at the age of sixty-eight years eight months and twenty-six days. He was preceded in death by his parents; daughter, Caroline James; brothers, George James, Jr.
He leaves to cherish his memory his daughter, Veronica L. Johnson; son, Robert James, Jr.; siblings, Deloris B. James Bebley, Victor (Elnora) James, Darrell James, Brenda L. James Dixon, Michael L. James, Ruth L. James, Richard N.
