Robert M. Bob Kuminecz, Sr., 77, of South Bend, IN, passed away at 6:40 a.m., Tuesday, February 20, 2007, in Hospice House. Bob was born on August 22, 1929 in South Bend to Michael and Helen (Kubasik) Kuminecz. He retired on December 30, 1988 from the U.S. Postal Service where he was employed as a letter carrier. On July 25, 1953, in St. Hedwig Church, he married, Charlotte V. Slusarek, who preceded him on death on December 5, 2000. Also preceding him in death were a grandson, Jeremy Kuminecz on April 21, 1985; and a sister, Jeanette Kuminecz. Survivors include two daughters, Mary Beth (Tim) Coleman and Rebecca Kuminecz both of South Bend, IN; two sons, Robert M. (Anita) Kuminecz, Jr. and Willliam (Cathy) Kuminecz both of South Bend, IN; ten grandchildren, Shawn, Dustin, Corey, and Madeline Kuminecz, Kelli, Timmy, Molly, and Megan Coleman, Kristina and Zachary Lekarczyk; and three sisters, Patricia (Fred) Hamann of South Bend, IN, Dorothy (Paul) Meert of Bakersfield, CA, and Teresa (Ellis) Villalovas, Bakersfield, CA.
