Robert Michael “Bob” Keefer, age 70, of Three Oaks, died peacefully, early Sunday morning, June 30, 2019, surrounded by family and loved ones in Hanson Hospice Center.
He was born January 25, 1949 in South Bend, Indiana, the youngest of three children of Darrell and Helen Keefer.
Bob was drafted into the Army following graduation from Galien High School in 1968, serving in Korea during the Viet Nam Era. After serving honorably, he came to Three Oaks and worked for Lintners Chevrolet and Jim Hall Ford, before becoming the owner of Keefer Automotive in Three Oaks.
Bob will be greatly missed by family and friends. He is survived by his wife, Lynne Keefer of Three Oaks; one daughter, Karen (Chris Clay) Keefer of Three Oaks; one son, Kelly (Amy York) Keefer of Galien; six grandchildren, Rose Keefer, Drew Holub, Ava Holub, Jaren Christ, Makena Christ, Nora Keefer; two brothers, Larry (Sue Anne) Keefer of Otsego, Michigan, Kevin (Susie) Stephenson of Fremont, Michigan; sister in law, Linda Keefer; father and mother in law, Dale and Marjorie Koth of Baroda, Michigan; and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents; step father, Frank Stephenson; and one brother, Jim Keefer.
