Robert Lykins, age 73, of Days Mill Road, Hillsboro, passed away Saturday, July 28, 2018, at Autumn Years Nursing Center in Sabina, Ohio.

Born April 3, 1945, in Salyersville, he was a son of the late Billy and Rachel Jane Franklin Lykins. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his first wife, Anna Mae Stutzman Lykins; his second wife, Angela Diane Burton Harris Lykins; and several brothers and sisters.

He is survived by two sons, Robert Curtis Lykins of Ohio and Rodney Joseph Lykins of Hillsboro; three daughters, Betty Lou Ellis (Scott) of McDermott, Ohio, Rebecca Ruth Brady (Billy) of Carlisle, and Robyn Kay Humphries (Phillip) of Ewing; several grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Other survivors include one brother, Marcus Lykins of Lucasville, Ohio; two sisters, Beatrice Howard of Ezel and Edith McGuire of Morehead; and a host of nieces and nephews.

Robert was a self-employed carpenter and was of the Baptist faith. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, and playing cards.
