Robert Louis Russo, age 71, died Tuesday, May 4, 2010, at St. Vincent’s Hospital in Bridgeport. He was the husband of the late Patricia Ann Bifano Russo. Born in Brooklyn, NY on June 22, 1938, Robert was the son of the late Joseph and Angelina (Montalto) Russo. He was a former Deputy Fire Marshall for the Norwalk Fire Department and also was a Special Police Officer with the Norwalk Police Department.
Survivors include three daughters, Lori Russo and her husband John D’Agostino, Patricia Girdvainis and her husband Gary, and Elisa Marie Irizarry and her husband Joseph, a brother, Ernest Russo of Denver, CO, 4 grandchildren, Gary, Jessica, Jaclyn and Samantha and several nieces and nephews.
