Robert Louis “Bob” Bergeman 63, born to Louis and Mary Eleanor Bergeman February 9, 1952 transitioned on Tuesday, November 10, 2015. He leaves behind his wife of 44 years Carole (Sellers) Bergeman and children Marsha (Keith) Clemans, Dan (Diana) Bergeman, Mary Anne Bergeman, Christy (Nick) Bebout and Glenna (Cody) West, his grandchildren Christian and Josh Espinoza, Nathaniel and Gabriel Bergeman, Danielle, Andrina and Carly McDonnell, Cheale, Emerald and Jet Clemans, Emma Bleiker and Kassidee West. Survived by his mother Mary Eleanor Bergeman, his brothers and sisters, Jerry (Norma) Bergeman, Peggy (Russ) McDaniel, Patricia (Larry) Van Gorder, Carole (Jim) Zaffino, Barbara (Ed) Cingoranelli, Mary Anne (Mark) Mauler, Matt (Debbi) Bergeman, Mike (Cheryl) Bergeman, Judy Bergeman, as well as hundreds of nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father Louis Bergeman, brother in law Kevin Mackowick, and his lifelong best friend Richard Atencio. Rob enjoyed building homes and owned his own drywall business for many years. His leisure time was spent “going fishing” in Cripple Creek, Wii bowling, listening to music, and being with his friends and family. Many knew him as a man of few words with a great and sometimes inappropriate sense of humor. Always laughing and finding humor in everything, he turned everything he said into a song. Bob always gave anything to those who needed his help whether it be with his time or money, never asking for anything in return. He lived by his own words, “Never do anything you wouldn’t sign your name to.” Many people were affected by his integrity, work ethic, and unconditional kindness he showed to everyone he encountered. He wouldn’t let anyone around him cry, be sad or take things too seriously. He would simply say, “What the hell are you crying for? I’m going to be fine.” Energy cannot be created or destroyed. Everything in the Universe, including all of us, is made up of the same stuff – star stuff. We were here before we existed and we will be here after we cease to exist. Our energy will never be gone.
