Robert Leroy Sparks
Our loving husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, great-great- grandfather, brother and friend, Robert Leroy Sparks, passed away peacefully on April 26, 2016. He was born on November 12, 1931 to Leroy and Celith Lathram Sparks. Robert married his sweetheart, Inez Ruth Pectol on September 13, 1954 in the Manti LDS Temple.
He proudly served in the United States Air Force from 1951 to 1954.
Robert attended Healds Engineering College, Brigham Young University and graduated from University of Utah.
He was an active member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. He faithfully served as Home Teacher, Elders Quorum President, High Priest and in many other callings.
Robert enjoyed writing stories, fishing, hunting, camping and spending time with his family.
He is survived by his loving wife, Inez; children, Collette Allen, Wade Sparks, Doyle Sparks and James Sparks; 9 grandchildren; 29 great-grandchildren; 8 great-great-grandchildren; and two brothers, John Sparks and Richard Sparks.
He was preceded in death by his parents; sister, Vivien Hunter and a brother, Jack Sparks; and a granddaughter, Tiffany Lee Sparks
