Robert Lee “Griff” Griffin Sr., of Greenfield, Indiana died on June 13, 2018.  He was 81 years old.   He is survived by his wife of 54 years, Mary Lee Griffin; John Davidson (stepson), Cindy Painter (step-daughter) and Shelly Griffin (daughter), all from Greenfield, Indiana, Robert Lee Griffin, Jr. (son) of Phoenix, Arizona; and 9 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren. 

A graduate of Arsenal Technical High School, Robert spent 8 years in the Naval Reserves.  He was a successful salesman and business owner retiring from RAM Data Systems in New Milford, CT. A company he co-founded with his wife.  Robert had many hobbies and interests including roller dancing, ballroom dancing, fishing, and bowling. In his 60s, he decided to get back into acting both onstage and on film, having acted at the Civic Theater, Carmel Community Players, The Belfry, and others; and on film in “A Certain Justice”, “Start Trek vs. Batman”, “Quantum Lead: A Lead to Di For”, “Leah not Leia” and “Mental Scars”. 

Griff was many things: funny, witty, intelligent, eloquent, talented and sometimes mischievous. But above all else, he so loved his family.
