Robert Lee Britton, age 89, passed away on Tuesday, January 5, 2016 at Greenfield Senior Living in Woodstock, VA. He was born on May 25, 1926 in Washington, D.C. Mr. Britton grew up farming and was an all-around handyman who could fix just about anything. He was a U.S. Navy WWII Veteran and retired from Prince William County. He is predeceased by his mother: Ruth (Swartz) Gray and step father: Emory Gray. Survivors include his loving wife of 66 years, Edna Britton; four children: Barbara McIntosh and husband Steve; Sherri Wallen and husband Jimmy, Robert Britton II and Carl Britton; one brother: Stuart Gray and wife Bonnie; one sister: Betty Croushorn and husband Shirley; seven grandchildren, Heather McIntosh, Daniel McEwen, Jaclyn Fries (Jaclyns husband Jake), J.D. Wallen, Amy Britton, Zach Wallen, and Jason Britton.
