Robert L. Kwapiszewski, “Ski”, age 65 of Saint Charles passed away Sunday January 20, 2013 surrounded by family at Central DuPage Hospital in Winfield.
He was born May 24, 1947 in Schenectady, New York.
Robert served our country for 26 years in the United States Army achieving the rank of First Sergeant. He was a veteran of the Vietnam War, receiving the Bronze Star, Purple Heart Award and numerous other awards.
He is survived by his wife of 26 years Wally (Wenner); children Chris (Vicki) La Voie, Fred (Carla) La Voie, Barb (Dave) Almaraz and John La Voie; nine grandchildren and four great grandchildren. Robert is also survived by many other relatives and friends.
