Robert L. Ross 79 of Mecca died at 5:20am on January 31, 2012 in Union Hospital Terre Haute. He was born November 15, 1932 to Cecil Ross and Mary Burton Ross. He was in the U.S. Airforce during the Korean War.
He is preceded in death by his parents, his wife Faith Ross, 2 sisters; Jean Jones and Linda Herschberger, 3 brothers; Freddie Joe Ross, Larry Ross and Ben Ross.
He is survived by his children Mari-Faith Storz of Rockville, Robert Steven Ross of Montezuma, Lee Anne Eatmon (Larry) of Clinton, George David Ross of California and Amy Phillips (Robert) of Clinton. Six grandsons; Daniel Eatmon, Jason Eatmon, Phillip Ross, Bradley Ross, Jacob Phillips and Noah Phillips. Three granddaughters; Jacqueline Maynard, Amanda Ross and Caitlin Phillips. Five great grandchildren; James Ross, Lily Ross, Carmine Cooper, Malachi Cooper and Marcus Eatmon. Also, two brothers; George Ross (Donna) of Montezuma and Paul Ivan Ross of Mecca and one sister Mona Baker (John) of Greenfield, IN. Also, several nieces, nephews and friends and his loyal dog Kelly.
