Robert L. “Butch” Kosier, 77, of Freeport, died Thursday, September 17, 2015.Born January 29, 1938 in Freeport he was the son of Robert and Lois (Lore) Kosier. He married Mary Quintero June 9, 2005 and she died August 15, 2015.Butch was a local contractor.He was a World War II Army veteran.
Surviving are his sister, Norma Oppold of Freeport; his children, Rena (Dennis) Christopher, Mark (Barb) Kosier, Tim Kosier, Tina (Murray) Harvey, and Cathy (Frank) Gillen; several grandchildren.He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife; and one brother.
