Robert L. Bob Craw, 73, died unexpectedly Wednesday, December 13, 2017, at his Fairmount, Indiana residence. Bob was born in Marion, Indiana on November 13, 1944, the son of the late Robert Craw and Betty (Davis) Johnson.
He was a 1962 graduate of Fairmount High School and proudly served in the Army National Guard for six years. Bob and Lee Anne Titus were married on June 26, 1964, at the Fairmount United Methodist Church. He worked at General Motors in Anderson for 35 years where he held many different positions. He retired in 1999 as a forklift driver. Bob was a member of the Fairmount American Legion Post 313. He enjoyed woodworking, and yard work, and was a handyman who could fix just about anything. His family liked to tease him about his private hardware store. He loved spending time with his grandchildren.
Bob is survived by his wife of 53 years, Lee Anne, children; Kelly (John)Moorman, Warsaw, and Scott (Mina) Craw, Fairmount, three grandchildren; Drew (Chelsea)Moorman, Laynie Craw, and Cooper Craw, great-grandchildren Cameron andAlisterMoorman. Siblings; Beth (Frank) Liestenfeltz, Marion, Julie (Ron) Caldwell, Tampa, Florida, Tony Craw, Fairmount, Marcie (Bob) Kendall, Marion, Sandra (Arnold)Rybolt, Pendleton, Sara (Wesley) Brookshire, Columbia City, Susan (Tom) Piper, Swayzee, and Spencer (Sharon) Bunch, Fairmount, and step-mother, Margaret Craw.
Bob was preceded in death by his parents, granddaughter, Maggie Craw, and sister, Diana Craw.
