Robert Kron, age 63, of Algona, passed away on September 24, 2020 at the Kossuth Regional Health Center in Algona. Robert Vance Kron was born on November 8, 1956 in Council Bluffs, Iowa. In 1966, Robert was adopted by Kenneth and Toni (Fisher) Kron. He graduated from Washington High School in Washington, Iowa in 1975. Robert had worked as a truck driver for American Concrete and other trucking jobs in Algona. He enjoyed fishing, playing cards, gambling and spending time with his grandchildren. Left to cherish his memory are his sons, Lee (Alissa) Kron of Polk City, Andy (April) Kron of Algona, Josh Kron of Algona, Jake Gronbach of Swea City, Dustin Penning-Smith of Wesley and Dalton (Megan) Kron of Algona; eleven grandchildren; and two sisters, Marsha (Robert) Nichols of Cedar Falls and Judy Dominguez of Council Bluffs. He was preceded in death by his parents.
