Robert “Bob” K. Schuler, 74, Anderson, passed away June 22, 2012, after injuries he suffered from an automobile accident. He was born March 22, 1938, in Lufkin, Texas, grew up in Sullivan, Missouri and resided in Anderson most of his adult life. He was an Electrical Engineer at Guide Lamp retiring as plant manager for General Motors in 1993. Bob served his country in the United States Army.
Bob served on many boards as a member of the Meadowbrook Baptist Church and currently served on Anderson City Board of Works, Anderson Kiwanis Club and Madison County United Way where he received the volunteer of the year award. He was also a member of Junior Achievement, SCORE and served on the board of the Harter House. Bob also loved to sing and enjoyed his family & traveling.
He is survived by his wife; Maxine Landwehr Schuler, and 4 children; Michelle Troup, Swayzee, Indiana, Pam Allen Jim, Bethel, Ohio, Kimberly Cook Richard, Solon Township, Michigan & Deb Van’t Hof Tim, Grand Rapids, Michigan, 1 brother; James Schuler, Yardley Pennsylvania and 1 sister; Linda Schnarre Neal, Marthasville, Missouri. He is also survived by 11 grandchildren & 10 great-grandchildren and several nieces & nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; James & Grace Beebe Schuler, sister-in-law; Diana Schuler and son-in-law; Randy Troup.
