Robert (RJ) Jordano, of Scottsdale AZ passed away unexpectedly on Monday May 31st, 2021. Robert was born in Hackensack, NJ and was the son of Emile and Anna Jordano. Robert was so many things to so many people. Throughout his life he was a leader and protector, starting with being big brother to his four siblings, to serving his country in the US Navy Submarine service. Then serving his community as a Detective Sergeant as a ballistics specialist for the Bergen County Sheriff’s Department and most importantly being the Patriarch of the Jordano family. He was the person everyone turned to for love, support advice and a willing ear. He was a successful business founder & owner of Jordano Electric, Inc and many real estate projects. He had a natural charm and presence that drew people in and made them seek out advice. It was the charismatic personality and sense of humor that helped him succeed in everything he did and create friendships everywhere he went. His word was his bond and he believed you should always give a firm handshake.

His hard work provided him the ability to semi-retire early and enjoy a healthier and relaxed life style in Arizona with his wife Beverly. Never one to idle, Robert continued to work on real estate projects, establishing himself as a “go-to” person for many others. He enjoyed golf, woodworking, lunch with friends and relaxing with a cigar and Netflix. Robert enjoyed attending many Super Bowls, Indy 500, car auctions, World Series and travel to Europe, and many states in the US.

Robert’s joy came from spending time with his family and friends in simple everyday events.

Robert is survived by his wife of 34 years, Beverly Jordano, his daughter Jennifer Jordano Infantolino & her husband Anthony, grandsons AJ & Rocco, sisters Aminta Rolland, Arlene Garris, Maggie O’Keeffe and husband Ric and many nieces and nephews. He is predeceased by his daughter Robbin Jordano and brother Emanuel Jordano.
