Robert Jones, Jr., 81, Anderson, died August 23, 2009 at Community Hospital. He was born June 6, 1928 in Albany, Kentucky, and lived in this area since he was sixteen. He retired from Emge’s Meat Packing Co. in Anderson.
Survivors include his wife, whom he married May 16, 1987, Karla Burnett Jones; sons, Rob Jones & wife, Debbie, Sean Chappell and Shane Chappell, all of Anderson; twenty-six brothers and sisters; three grandchildren; five great grandchildren, one great great grandchild and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Robert Jones, Sr. & Sally Anderson Jones; daughter, Julie Kay Jones; and his first wife and mother of his children, Jacqueline Berryman Jones.
