Mr. Robert James “Bay-Bay” Morris, was born to the late Essie and Alma Moody Morris on January 26, 1949 in Frankville, AL. He departed this life on May 31, 2018 in Saraland, AL.
Robert joined the Mt. Bethel Baptist Church in Frankville, AL at an early age under the leadership of Rev. W. T. Lang. He married Ruth Dixon on October 18, 1971 and this union was blessed with four children. Later in life he moved to Mobile, AL where he remained until his health began to fail.
Preceding him in death were his parents, Essie and Alma Morris; grandparents, Isaiah and Eva Howell; and step father, Jimmy Moody.
Robert will always be remembered by Ruth Morris, Frankville, AL; two sons, Demetrius Morris, Mobile, AL, Eld. Reginald (Doris) Morris of Coffeeville, AL and three daughters, Malissa Drake of Frankville, Katrena Poellnitz, Frankville, AL, and Raytaunda (Charles) Vaughn, Riverdale, GA; one brother Henry Morris of Frankville, AL; in-laws, Jim and Martha Dixon, Frankville, AL; eighteen grandchildren; one great grandchild; a devoted friend and caregiver, Willie Mae Howel, Saraland, AL; and a host of nieces, nephews other relatives and friends.
