Mr. Robert Jackson Patterson, 74, of Graham passed away at his home on Thursday, December 29, 2016 at 9:20 a.m.
A native of Alamance County, he was the husband of Carol Wolfe Patterson, who survives and the son of John A. Patterson and Lillian MacIntyre Patterson, both deceased. Mr. Patterson was a graduate of Elon College and served two years in the U. S. Army. He was an avid fisherman.
In addition to his wife of the home, survivors include a son, Robert Jackson “Rob” Patterson, II and wife Misty of Graham; his beloved grandsons, Jackson H. Patterson, Knox Patterson and Clay Bailey; special niece, Julie Clemmer; sister, Mary Robbins of Burlington; his cat, “Z”; and two dogs, Penny and Allie.
Mr. Patterson was preceded in death by a brother, John A. Patterson, Jr. and sister, Patricia P. Smathers.
