Robert J. Spaulding

Robert J. Spaulding 79 of Leominster died Monday April 20, 2009 in his home after an illness. He was born on March 5, 1930 in South Portland; Maine was the son of Henry O. and Frieda (Rix) Spaulding. He was a United States Army Veteran of the Korean Conflict. He earned the Korean Service Medal with 3 Bronze Stars, United Nations Service Medal, National Defense Service Medal, and ROK Presidential Citation. Mr. Spaulding worked as a Security Guard for the Very Fine Corporation in Littleton, MA before retiring. He was a member of the Fraternal Order of the Eagles Aerie 477 Leominster. He was predeceased by his wife Helen (Ciccone) Spaulding who died December 4, 2002. Mr. Spaulding is survived by three daughters Roberta Britt and Annette Tardiff, and Paula Desgroseilliers all of Leominster, four grandchildren Michael Britt, Seth Tardiff, Gina Tardiff and Noah Tardiff.
