Robert J. Bardwell of Wallingford, died on Friday, November 16th at the age of 51 after a battle with cancer. Born in Dallas TX, he was the son of Otto Bardwell of Charlotte, NC and Eva Bardwell of Chester. Bobby grew up in Durham and graduated form Conginchaug High School in 1975 and had served honorably in the US Army. He was an independent man who loved the outdoors and working with his hands and was an avid fisherman. Besides his parents he is survived by his loving partner Barbara Heath of Wallingford; one brother Josh Bardwell of Old Saybrook; two sisters, Linda Bardwell of Tulsa, OK and Rebekah Bardwell of Ft. Lauderdale, FL.
