Robert I. Braley, 31, of New Fairfield died on Tuesday, February 8, 2022, at his home.
Mr. Braley was born in Danbury on December 14, 1990, in his early years, he attended New Fairfield schools and later Newtown schools and graduated from Newtown High School. He then attended and graduated from Porter and Chester Institute where he was in their auto mechanic program. He was employed with County Line Nissan of Watertown where he was a mechanic.
With an interest in the culinary arts, Robert attended and graduated from Lincoln Technical Institute’s Culinary Arts program and also became an accomplished chef.
He was a U.S. Army veteran and enjoyed archery, attending concerts, deep-sea fishing, and was a member of a saltwater shark fishing competition team.
He is survived by his mom and dad, Jennifer Braley and Ronald Swift, by three children, Keaton James, Trenton Sylas, and Mercy Grey, and by his maternal grandfather, John Braley.
He was predeceased by a sister, Jessica Ann, his maternal grandmother, Dorothy Braley, and by his maternal great grandfather, Irving Wallach.
