Robert Howard “Bob” Rogers Jr., 72, passed away February 10, 2017. He is survived by his wife of 41 years, Eileen Rogers; his son, Robert Howard Rogers III; and daughter, Lisa Gillespie. He is also survived by his grandchildren, Eric Gillespie, Ashley Schultz and Joshua Miller; as well as other loving family members, Tom and Kim Miller, Carol and Jim Grossman and Richard and Fran Skinner. Bob served his country and state both as a United States Marine and a New Mexico State Police Officer. His spirit of service also continued as a volunteer at Lovelace Hospital helping those in need. Bob was a lover of animals and raised many dogs over the years. He always had the ability to make people laugh and smile by keeping them on their toes with his jokes.
